Itinerary
Full Itinerary of the Humantay Lake tour from Cusco
Your adventure starts at 5:00 am from your hotel in Cusco, since this is a group service you should know that the pick up schedule may vary. Then we will journey to Mollepata village. (The drive from Cusco to Mollepata is approximately 3 hours).
After breakfast in Mollepata, our adventure continues for about one more hour towards Soraypampa 3,900 meters above sea level, (12,795 ft.). where we will begin our Humantay Lake trek.
Once we reach the trailhead of the hike to Humantay Lake, we will be impressed by the beutiful views of the Peruvian Andes in the distance, we will be also able to see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. We will hike for approximately 1.5 hours to Humantay Lake, 4,200 meters (13,779 feet) above sea leve.
Finally, we will arrive at Peru’s Humantay Lake (4230 m / 13,878 ft). Here, we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy this natural wonder in all its glory, as well as capture the perfect photo.
After enjoying the beauty of nature on this day hike to Humantay Lake, we will begin our hike back to Soraypampa village. Then we will walk to the parking lot. We will be driving you back to Mollepata village for lunch After lunch, Our driver will take us back to Cusco city, we will be back in Cusco at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Carlitos is a great guide
I did the 4-day Inca Trail with my then fiancee and friends with Carlitos as our guide. He is very knowledgable with the history of the trail and gave us technical tips on how to hike better as well. Would recommend Carlitos as your guide!

Sacred Valley Tour
My friends and I took the Sacred Valley Tour from Ollantaytambo and had a great time! The pacing was perfect. Half of us had altitude sickness and the other half did not but all of us were able to enjoy our day. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very attentive. I highly recommend the tour!
