Embark on an unforgettable journey to Rainbow Mountain, beginning with a 4:30 a.m. pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. The drive before sunrise brings you to the breathtaking beauty of the Andean landscapes, leading you to the charming village of Cusipata.
Arriving in Cusipata around 6:00 AM, enjoy a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant.
The real adventure begins at 7:45 a.m., when you set out to conquer Rainbow Mountain. Opt for a scenic hike, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and serenity of the Andes, or choose the convenience of renting a horse for part of the journey. Local guides will accompany you and explain the flora, fauna and cultural significance of the region.
As you ascend, the fascinating colors of Rainbow Mountain will slowly reveal themselves. Arrive at the summit at approximately 10:00 a.m. and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views. Take time to capture the beauty with your camera and simply absorb the serene atmosphere of this high-altitude wonder.
After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, begin the descent back to Cusipata. Once there, around 12:30 PM, a satisfying lunch awaits you. Reflect on the day’s adventures while enjoying a well-deserved meal (buffet lunch), surrounded by the natural charm of the Andean village.
